Palo Alto High School students can now register online for CPR and First Aid classes, according to Living Skills teacher Letitia Burton.
Classes will be held at Paly from Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 28 & and 29, to Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 14 and 15. There are 11 class sessions available to students. Students must enroll for one entire class session, which is divided into two consecutive days, Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday.
Students will need to attend both days of each class session in order to be certified. Classes are from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Room 28.
According to Burton, there is a suggested donation of $55 to help cover the costs of materials and instruction for the class.
According to the Paly course catalog, CPR and First Aid is a Palo Alto Unified School District graduation requirement. Gunn High School teacher Ken Plough teaches all classes.
