Customers can customize their own desserts with the wide selection of flavors.

Watch out Pinkberry, Red Mango, Fraiche Yogurt and L’Amour – a new frozen yogurt shop has arrived. Sporting a clean, fresh atmosphere, Yogurtland at 494 University Avenue offers an inexpensive and varied selection of frozen yogurt for its customers.
Yogurtland, which opened May 19, provides 16 flavors of frozen yogurt and over 30 toppings. In addition, the yogurt and toppings are self-served and priced by weight.
Unlike many other frozen yogurt shops, Yogurtland gives its customers the ability to mix-and-match flavors, toppings and size of the servings.
The pricing is also fairly cheap compared to other stores such as Pinkberry, which charges $3.50 for a medium-sized serving. Red Mango and Fraiche Yogurt charge $3.95 and $5.00 for medium and two toppings, respectively. In addition to its low base price of 33 cents per ounce, Yogurtland offers numerous promotions, such as its current three-ounce-free coupon.
When entering the store, one immediately notices its organized look, with green and white tiles surrounding the numerous machines and walls. The decor is clean and professional, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The layout of the store is fluid and sensible, starting from the machines, to the toppings, to the register.
Service, while limited, is helpful, as enthusiastic store owner Chris Jang greets customers as they enter. He provides sample tasters and recommends the best flavors for newcomers. There is typically only one other employee on hand besides Jang, which is to be expected from a self-serve store.
Samples are easily accessible. Unlike at many other frozen yogurt stores, customers are not limited to just one or two flavors; if they cannot choose between multiple flavors, they can still enjoy them all due to the self-service method. Jang also provides unlimited samples to find the flavor that best matches the customer.
As for specific flavors, green tea stands out as exceptionally delicious. The chocolate is sweet, perhaps too sweet. The fruit flavors as a whole taste great and are complemented well by the fresh fruit toppings. Among other toppings, the brownie bites are moist and fresh, perfect for any of the creamy flavors. We also recommend the mochi flavors as they provide a balance of a soft and chewy texture.
If you are looking for frozen yogurt at relatively low prices with the ability to customize your flavors, and size and toppings that taste delicious, look no further than Yogurtland.
