Palo Alto High School Principal Phil Winston will hold a press conference Wednesday at noon, where he will reveal the administration’s decisions about the 2011-12 bell schedule based on the pilot bell schedule that has been in effect since the beginning of the school year. 

The block schedule has received a great deal of input from various sources over the course of the year.

“We did surveys, focus groups, and we did work as a staff,” Winston said. “Site Council, the PTSA, and members of our Paly learning community were involved, and the final decision was made by the Education Council.”

Winston would not give specifics before the press conference, saying only that a decision would be announced at the conference.

“We will be revealing the decisions based on the pilot bell schedule,” Winston said.
