The Palo Alto High School Associated Student Body will host its second annual pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday in the Student Center.
Alex Hammer, freshmen class president, and Michael Wang, sophomore class president, are in charge of organizing the event, which will raise funds for the 2013 and 2014 class funds.
However, ASB President Chirag Krishna emphasized that the primary goal of the breakfast is school bonding and not fundraising.
“We want to make this a tradition at Paly and get kids involved.”
According to Wang, the menu includes buttermilk pancakes, syrup, fruit, Hobee’s coffeecake, orange juice, coffee and milk. ASB members and parent volunteers will run the event.
“Bring your families — it’s a family event,” Hammer said.
According to Sasha Robinson, ASB sophomore Site Council representative, more than 100 people came to the breakfast last year.
Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased through the auditor, the Viking Shoppe and at the door. Wang encouraged people to get their tickets in advance to help estimate numbers.
