“I think Avatar was shut out and they gave too many awards to The Hurt Locker.” – Ben Hawthorne, freshman

“I’m really hurt Up didn’t get Best Picture because the old man [in the movie] is who I aspire to be.” – Ke’ili Deal, senior

“I liked Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.” – Dar Shavit, sophomore

“The Oscars were very tasty.” – Joseph Yao, senior
