Shemtov: Hi Paly, this is Helena Raffel and Maya Shemtov of The Paly Voice, bringing you the latest news from the Paly campus for the week of June 8 to 11.

Raffel: This week was finals week. Great job everyone! Summer is finally here!

Shemtov: The Paly class of 2009 graduated on Wednesday evening at 5:45 p.m. Congratulations to all of the graduates and good luck next year!

Raffel: Baccalaureate took place on Sunday afternoon at the Stanford memorial chapel. The speaker was Kavita Ramdas of the Global Fund for Women. She encouraged the Class of 2009 to change the world.

Shemtov: Verde came out this week. The issue’s cover featured summer entertainment.

Raffel: Paly junior Philip McQuitty finished 18th at the California Interscholastic Federation State Track and Field Championships.
