The iconic Tower Building on the Palo Alto High School campus is housing voting for the general election for many Palo Alto residents from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. today.
At 12:45 p.m., the 212th voter at the precinct turned in a ballot, according to a volunteer assisting with voting.
“We’ve had only about two senior student voters today,” said another volunteer on location. “We should have a huge flow of voters coming in around five o’clock and we are just about running low out of our stocked English voting ballots.”
More ballots and information pamphlets were brought in at 1:05 p.m. in preparation for the larger expected voter turnout later in the day.
More information and updates will be posted as they become available.
