A bus carrying students returning from the Palo Alto High School Prom ran into a car and stalled early Sunday morning.

UPDATE: As of 12:50 a.m., Principal Phil Winston confirmed that no one on the bus was injured.

A bus carrying students returning from the Palo Alto High School Prom ran into a car and is stalled, as of 12:03 a.m. in San Francisco, according to senior DJ Fotsch, who was on the bus.

No damage or injuries have been reported, however, the collision resulted in a significant dent in the receiving car.

The collisions occurred when a car “cut off” the bus, Fotsch said. 

The students on the bus, still in San Francisco, are now switching buses as of 12:20 a.m. and will return to Palo Alto soon, according to Fotsch.
