“We have an instructor that’s going to teach people how to do some dance steps and then people in the audience can just dance to the jazz band,” Willner said.
According to Willner, students should attend to have a good time and let loose.
“Just show up and you’ll have a good time,” Willner said. “All the bands in the orchestra are going to sound great. You can learn how to do a couple of swing dance steps or you can just listen.”
According to sophomore performer Arthur Blanch, the band and orchestra have been practicing for a long time.
“It’s a good performance,” Blanch said. “Everybody has put in a lot of effort and everybody here really likes what they’re doing, which really creates a fun but serious environment.”
Tickets cost $10 for students and $20 for adults, and they are available on this website.
