Town and Country recently put up a fence because of construction. The Paly Voice asked students on campus what they thought about this controversial issue.
"I don’t understand it and don’t like it. I’m so confused." – Maddie Ferguson, senior
"It prevents people from getting run over, right?"- Eric Bloom, teacher
"It looked not very user-friendly. I think it’s the new management trying to train the students. It looks like something kids would hate." – Debbie Whitson, teacher
"I think it’s stupid. It’s just stupid." – Sarah Brown, sophomore
"I think it’s ridiculous. If we want to go to Long’s we have to go all the way around [other buildings]." – Alexandra Skiva, senior
"It feels like we’re in a cattle drive. It’s as though we’re felons because they are guards everywhere." – Adil Ahasan, sophomore
"It’s weak. It’s pointless. It seems like a waste of time." – Rob Rudy, junior
"I have a strong dislike for the fence. I feel like I’m caged in, like in prison. They should have started construction in the summer." – Lakia Young, sophomore
"I don’t like it. I don’t understand the point of it. They aren’t even doing construction yet." – Casey Wyatt, freshman
