Come dance under the stars at Paly’s "Last Chance Dance," the last dance of the 2004-2005 school year.
The dance will be held Friday from 8-11 p.m. The dance theme is "outdoor paradise " as it will be outside, in the Paly quad.
"I think it will be more fun outside," freshman Pauline Slakey said. "It will be better because it will be less stuffy than inside the gym."
According to Yahoo weather, no rain is forecast for Friday. "If it does rain we’ll have to move the dance to one of the gyms," Student Activities Director Joann Vaars said.
This is the fourth Paly-sponsored dance of the year. The winter dance was cancelled because of a basketball game. According to Vaars, each class switches off organizing dances, and Friday’s dance is organized by the freshman class.
The dance is open to Paly students only. Student ID cards must presented at the door. Tickets are on sale at the auditor’s office for $5 with an ASB card, and $10 without. The last opportunity to buy a ticket is Friday at noon.
