The Paly Voice recently asked students what they thought about a petition which urges the Palo Alto School Board to rename David Starr Jordan Middle School. The petition labels David Starr Jordan as an advocate of eugenics, an early 20th century movement to breed a “master race” of humans through selective breeding.
