The Palo Alto High School Associated Student Body will host a movie night 7 p.m. on Friday in the Media Arts Center.
ASB is showing the winter holiday movie “Home Alone“ to offer students a fun night with their peers.
ASB will make to avoid technical issues like last year’s showing of “The Breakfast Club,” where new equipment malfunctioned and overheated.
“The technical issues [last year] dealt with the system being new and having some faulty parts,” Student Activities Director Matt Hall said. “Those parts have been replaced. It’s worked since last April until now so we don’t anticipate any problems.”
Sophomore Brian Xu is excited for the opportunity to enjoy his Friday evening with friends.
“I’m looking forward to the ASB movie night because it’s cheap and easy fun with my friends,” Xu said.
Slices of pizza for $1 each and a free bag of popcorn if you bring a Gunn High School student will be provided by ASB.
