Paly’s first night rally featured a neon theme with a hamster ball race, performance by the dance team and a game called “Clean Your Room.”
The seniors clinched first place in the hamster ball race in a close match against the sophomores who went on to take second. Juniors took third leaving the freshman in last place.
In between the rounds of the hamster ball race, an unidentified male streaked across the field marking the second streaker of the week. Paly administration is currently investigating the case.
Following a performance by the dance team, ASB unveiled a new game called “Clean Your Room.” The game involved moving socks from each class’s “room” into another class’s quadrant with the goal of having as little pairs of socks in your room.
Once again, seniors secured the win, giving them an overall lead in the points ranking.
Student response to the first ever night rally has been positive.
“It was awesome,” senior Jacey Pederson said. “It was a really cool experience because it’s been the first night rally in my four years here. It’s been really cool seeing how everything has been progressing.”
Spirit week continues with Generation Day tomorrow, with all classes dressing as their respective generations.
