Palo Alto High School senior Margaret Kadifa, a managing editor for Verde magazine, is blogging about her travels throughout Lebanon:

I’ve never thought of myself as someone who would end up blogging. As a journalist, I always viewed blogs as sub-standard, unedited journalism. However, as I will be in Lebanon for a month studying at the American University of Beirut or AUB, I have decided that the best way to share my experience would be to blog about it. It will also force me to keep a decent record of my trip. A win-win situation, right?
