The Campanile, Palo Alto High School’s newspaper, announced its new leadership team for the 2012-2013 school year on Monday, May 7.
The new editors in chief will begin their jobs by overseeing production of the next issue of The Campanile, which will be distributed on Tuesday, May 29.

“In the end, our decision came down to picking a group of people that we were really confident would work well together,” current editor in chief Brian Benton said. “We’re really happy with the six we chose because we think they all contribute something unique that they’ll be able to implement next year.”
“I am truly honored and excited to lead such a talented group of students and I look forward to working with my fellow editors in chief,” Haghdoost said. “We plan on increasing involvement among our own Campanile staff members with regards to the way we manage the newspaper as well as reaching out to others in our school community.”
“I’m really excited to see what they do with the paper next year,” Benton said.
