Students and staff are preparing for Field Day, which is set to occur Friday with the standard assortment of activities it features each year.
“This year ASB [the Associated Student Body leadership team] has put together a great selection of field day activities,” senior class president Jack Smale said. “We’re really excited about it and hope it will go down as one of the best Field Days Paly has seen so far. We got the plans about a month ago and we voted on which [inflatable houses] we wanted about two weeks ago, [so] it should be awesome.”
Students can expect obstacle courses and bouncy houses along with several other distractions and diversions, according to ASB President Chirag Krishna.
Because of the activities, Friday will feature a special schedule with 45-minute periods beginning at 8:15 a.m. Lunch will be an hour and 15 minutes from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m to allow students to fully enjoy themselves.
“I’m looking forward to the obstacle course,” senior Andy Hammer said.
