The Education Council will meet next Wednesday at 2 p.m. to decide whether it should allow students to access free wireless Internet on campus, according to technology teacher and webmaster Pat O’Hara.
Despite the fact that the Ed Council has not made its official decision yet, both the Palo Alto Unified School District and Paly Internet technology staff have been building wireless access points around campus in preparation for student access.
Principal Phil Winston confirmed that student wireless access is now dependent on the decision of the Ed Council.
“Things are in place to have it go live, so the next step is to run it by Ed Council,” Winston said.
More information to come.
