Shemtov: Hi Paly, this is Helena Raffel and Maya Shemtov of The Paly Voice, bringing you the latest news from the Paly campus for the week of Sept. 21-24, 2009.
Raffel: The Campanile’s first edition of the school year came out on Monday. Make sure to pick up a copy if you haven’t already.
Shemtov: Last week was the first week of Paly’s new attendance policy. The attendance office has already enrolled at least 50 students in Saturday school since the policy’s implementation, according to Attendance Secretary Karla Larson.
Raffel: The boys’ varsity cross country team finished second behind top-ranked Mountain View at Saturday’s Lowell Invitational in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
Shemtov: Staged Readings of recent Broadway hit plays will be performed tomorrow at 7:30 in the Haymarket theater. Both teachers and students will be performing,
Raffel: The School Board approved conceptual plans for a new Paly Media Arts building at their meeting on Tuesday following presentations by Paly teachers about the plans.
