Shemtov: Hi Paly, this is Maya Shemtov and Helena Raffel of The Paly Voice bringing you the latest news from the Paly campus for the week of May 1 to May 5.
Raffel: The Campanile came out on Tuesday, featuring their annual college map.
Shemtov: Viking came out today, focusing on a summation of 2009.
Raffel: The Associated Student Body selected a graduation speaker. Kavita Ramdas, President and CEO of the Global Fund for Women, will speak at Paly’s baccalaureate ceremony on Sunday, June 5.
Shemtov: On Thursday, a fire alarm went off during seventh period due to a faulty smoke detector.
Raffel: Theater teacher Kathleen Woods announced the plays Paly will be performing next year at Senior Showcase on May 30. Paly will present Almost, Maine in November 2009 and A Midsummer Night’s Dream in April 2010.
