Verbatim: Vikings share motivations for attending peace march

Palo Alto High School students joined others from around the Bay Area in a peaceful demonstration Tuesday afternoon at downtown Palo Alto.

The demonstration was intended to spread messages of love and acceptance, and was inspired by the unrest that many students felt because of derogatory comments made during the 2016 presidential election.

The Paly Voice asked students why they decided to attend the march.
