New clubs debut at Club Day Two

Palo Alto High School Associated Student Body will host its second Club Day of the school year at lunch tomorrow on the Quad.

The event provides an opportunity for new clubs to gain publicity, and gives a chance for both new and old clubs to recruit members.

“Club Day [Two] is a really great way for people to join clubs that weren’t originally chartered first semester,” ASB Vice President Anmol Nagar said. “Clubs from first semester are also able to advertise their club.”

According to Nagar, unlike Club Day One, this Club Day will run on a regular B schedule and will feature a smaller number of clubs.

This semester, ASB added nine new clubs: Neuroscience Club, Tapout Club, Beat Club, Polynesian Club, Curling Club, Science Research Club, Unity Club, Disney Club and PALY Teams Club. During the fall of 2015, there were a total of 75 clubs on campus, according to the Paly ASB website.

The Paly Voice spoke with five club founders to learn more about their clubs.
