Meet the quirky side of your ASB candidates

Palo Alto High School’s Associated Student Body elections are officially here, and if you feel that you don’t know enough about the executive candidates, never fear. The Paly Voice met with student body candidates to find out quirky things about them.

Elections began yesterday and will continue until Friday at 3:30 p.m. Students can access the poll by going to www.tallyspace.com/pahs or by scanning the QR codes scattered throughout campus.

Describe your campaign goal in less than a sentence: “I’m trying to channel the spirit at Paly and make it into something productive.”

Describe yourself in three words: Ambitious, creative, compassionate.

If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? : Istanbul.

Ideal date: “A picnic at Foothills Park.”

Describe your campaign goal in less than a sentence: “I think I have a lot of experience in this area: I can bring about positive change and I help make student experience at Paly better.”

Describe yourself in three words: Creative, devoted, a good listener.

Favorite season: “We don’t seem to have seasons here, but spring.”

Favorite pizza: Pepperoni.

Dogs or cats? : Dogs.

Skiing or surfing? : “I’ve never tried surfing, so skiing.”

Ideal date: “Something fun and simple.”

Favorite season: “I would say spring, but I get allergies, so summer instead.”

Dogs or cats? : “Dogs, hands down.”

Ideal date: “I would just say park, fancy dinner and then stargazing. Roses should get in there somewhere.”
