Palo Alto High School’s annual Associated Student Body elections will be held this week from Wednesday through Friday. Similar to previous years, there are many uncontested candidates.

“It’s precisely the same as last year,” Student Activities Director Matt Hall said. “If anything the number of candidates is up from last year.”

Voting for ASB officers and grade-specific officers will occur both on the quad during lunch and all-day online on this website. Applications for appointed positions, such as spirit and sports commissioners, will be available after spring break and will be decided two weeks later, according to Hall.

According to Hall, decisions will be released Friday afternoon after all candidate posters are cleaned up and candidate expense statements are submitted.
