Hae-Lin, a senior at Palo Alto High School, is an editor in chief of the Paly Voice and an avid student journalist. Introduced to the power of words early in her life through avid reading, she found a passion in writing to make an impact: to tell a story, catalyze discussion, open opportunities, make a change. Besides her work on the Paly Voice, Hae-Lin has also written for the Stanford Daily as a summer intern and has been involved with the Midpeninsula Media Center for over four years. In addition to writing, Hae-Lin also enjoys music, as a member of the California Youth Senior Symphony, and loves mathematics, history, photography and art.
