BFD Festival to return for 20th show

    If you couldn’t make it to Coachella this year, kick off your summer concert season by attending the 20th annual BFD (Big F---ing Day) Festival hosted by Live 105, June 1st at the Shoreline Amphitheater. The festival will feature artists Foster the People, Phantogram, M.I.A, Fitz and the Tantrums and the New Politics on the BFD 2014 Mainstage, along with two other supporting stages.

    The Palo Alto Teen Council hosted the charity event 'Glow for the Phillipines' to benefit rescue efforts in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan. Funds that were raised during the event were donated specifically towards Palo Alto's sister city, Palo.

    The final rally of Spirit week took place after school Friday, where each grade presented their class float and spirit dance. Final results of Spirit Week will be announced at the Homecoming dance, which takes place Saturday night.
