The Palo Alto Girls’ softball team (14-12, 4-7) defeated Fremont High School (3-22, 2-11) 8-3 after school Tuesday at home. The Lady Vikings celebrated Senior Night before the game started, which involved introducing the graduating seniors and their parents and bequeathing them with flowers and candy. The graduating seniors are Hannah Bundy, Tori DeStefano, Shannon Fee, Kate Marinkovich, Emma Noroian and Julia Saul. This was the last home game of the season for the Lady Vikes, who will next hit the road to take on Gunn High School this Thursday.
