Social Studies plays at Paly

Social Studies played for an audience of Palo Alto High School students after school on Friday, Jan. 11 on the Quad.

Founded in San Francisco in 2008, the band is well known for its compelling and profound music in modernist pop. The group includes Natalia Rogovin (vocals, keyboard), Michael Jirkovsky (drums), Jesse Hudson (bassist), Ben McClintock  (guitarist) and Tom Smith (guitarist).

Social Studies marks the first of many live performances to come, due to an effort by the Associated Student Body (ASB) to host more performances during lunch and after school. Goodnight Argent, a band known for its’ pop-alternative music, is coming to play this Friday, Jan. 18 at lunch on the Quad.
