The sun will come out this Friday for the end of Palo Alto High School’s 2012 Spirit Week.  On the final day, freshmen, sophomores and juniors will dress up in green and white while seniors will wear camouflage.

The standings as of the end of day 4, Thursday, have seniors in first place with 4525 points, juniors  in second place with 3795 points, sophomores in third place with 2620 points and freshmen in fourth place with 2315 points, according to the Associated Student Body website.

Activities will begin on the Quad during lunch with Paly teachers presenting a dance, followed by a student dance off (first place 400 points), the best-dressed competition (first place 200 points) and a Tarp Cray Strip Reverse Race (first place 400 points). During the Tarp Cary Strip Reverse Race, competitors will race to put on costumes and then be carried across the Quad on a tarp by their teammates, where the dressed competitors will strip out of the costumes and return onto the tarp to be carried back to where they started

After school, there will be a rally on the football field where each class will show off its spirit dance (first place 800 points) and float (first place 900 points).
