Slideshow: New football facilities

Palo Alto High School debuted its new football facilities when the Vikings took on the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs Friday night.

    The new snack shack will feature more windows to order food from. It also includes permanent bathrooms.

    Trees will be planted around the football stadium and in these areas in the pavement throughout the football season. Additonally, a line of trees will span the northeastern side of the field.

    New pathways will be featured in this area of the new stadium. Administrators are looking to possibly add a picnic area as well after the conclusion of the football season.

    Tickets will be sold from this window in the new snack shack building under the archway. Administrators are looking to put in a second ticket booth on the opposite side of the arch sometime in the future.

    The new arch and snack shack will serve as the entrance to the renovated football stadium. Tickets will be sold from the snack shack. In addition, an ornamental fence will be constructed after the end of the football season.

    New benches are part of the overall construction plan for the football entrance, and will be debuted as part of Paly's game against Archbishop Mitty High School on Friday.

    The new archway will feature a light at the top, as opposed to a bell as some students anticipated.
